Office visits to new contemporary dwelling in Guildford

Over the last few weeks members of the Office have been taking visits to our site for a new two storey contemporary dwelling in Guildford. The project is currently in the final stages of construction and replaces an 1960s bungalow on an extremely sloped site.

The ground floor of the new dwelling is partially built into the ground with the entrance to the property at first floor. Capped by a butterfly roof, high floor to ceiling levels generate a lofty feel to the rooms and large areas of glazing at the two storey Southern elevation provide unbeatable views beyond Guildford to Godalming.

The proposal also utilises sustainable and energy efficient materials with the timber clad first floor and renewable technologies for heating, cooling & power for the house.
