LAA have recently submitted a planning application for further development at Guildford County School, marking the next stage in their masterplan to transform their school estate.

We prepared the first masterplan for the school in 2012, putting in place a robust strategy that allowed them to successfully deliver projects including the new art block and sports hall. We updated the masterplan in 2020 and have now submitted a planning application for the next three phases that includes:

• New purpose built music block with recital studio
• Enlarged Sixth Form Centre with common room, study and balcony areas
• Courtyard infill and attic conversion to provide additional teaching space

A realistic and well justified estate strategy has been the key to unlocking the development potential of the estate – delivering fantastic new facilities for the whole school community.
