Xander Bailey

Xander joined us in June, following the completion of his Part 1 studies at the University of Nottingham. A highlight of his time at university was the opportunity to join the Design+Build studio unit, where he and his fellow students not only designed, but also travelled to South Africa to construct a purpose-built creche for pre-school aged children in Limpopo. This hands-on experience gave Xander a strong foundation in both the design process and the realities of seeing a project realised on site.

Since joining the practice, Xander has been eager to continue his professional development and expand his knowledge of the industry. He is currently contributing to a variety of projects at different stages, from early feasibility studies and planning applications to detailed construction drawings. He is looking forward to the opportunity to further develop his architectural skills working alongside the experienced Lytle Associates team.

Outside architecture, Xander is a keen sportsman, playing both football and tennis. He also enjoys travelling, being out in the countryside, and playing the guitar.
