A school is a centre for education, and we believe that this should apply to all aspects of school life, including building work. Pupils can learn about the construction industry and its processes. Contractors can learn to appreciate the end users of the accommodation. We are committed to helping schools use the whole building process as a learning resource. We believe that if everyone understands each other, the site usually runs more smoothly and there are less complaints on both sides! Pupils move into a new building with an appreciation of how it is constructed and an insight into the roles of architects, surveyors and contractors. We can offer design process workshops; careers talks; tours of building sites; work experience; bespoke contract rules developed specially for school sites.
