Continuing our successful partnership with Barratt, we completed the detailed drawings in support of a reserved matters application for Phase 1 of this scheme, designing 93 dwellings in a local vernacular style. We were then asked to masterplan Phase 2 and a further 227 dwellings.

The 600 dwelling outline consent for this site included a primary school, neighbourhood centre and large areas of open space and play space. This was a joint venture between Barratt Southern Counties and Wates. The scheme straddled the flood plain and had to be carefully engineered to include swales to catch flood waters.
