This was an enabling development on former school playing fields which balanced the financial requirement to maximise the site’s potential with the concerns of local residents and a range of interest groups.

This scheme provided a total of 23 units ranging from an almshouse style block on the street frontage to detached 5 bedroomed houses, all purpose-designed for the site in the Surrey vernacular style to reflect the mature and varied existing street scene. The centre of the site was landscaped to create a village-green setting instilling a sense of ownership and allowing informal supervision of children at play.
