WALLED GARDEN
A contemporary extension to a Grade II listed Victorian palmhouse. The new wing of this house forms an extension of the garden wall, offset from the original Victorian garden wall. The new wall forms a barrier both visually and functionally between the new accommodation and the gardens, a distinction between proposed and existing. Three new bedrooms with en-suites, bathroom, new living area with glazed roof and dining area are linked to the original building by a new corridor incorporating canted structural glazed walls and roof.
This modern interpretation of the glasshouse aesthetic has brought new life to the palmhouse.
