We were involved in this contemporary extension to a Grade II listed Victorian palmhouse. The new wing of the house formed an extension of the garden wall, offset from the original Victorian wall. This created both a visual and practical barrier between the new accommodation and the gardens, seamlessly blending old and new.
Three new bedrooms with ensuites, a bathroom, new living area with glazed roof and dining area are linked to the original building by a corridor incorporating canted structural glazed walls and roof.
