We were appointed by Young Epilepsy to act as lead consultant to incorporate a new brain scanning system (MEG) into their existing facilities. The new specialist equipment was the first of its kind in the world with the potential to transform the diagnostic experience for the children. As the MEG was actually a small cube shaped room, formed from 300mm thick steel plated walls, it was imperative that the installation was integrated into the building so it was as natural an environment as possible for the children.
