We are delighted to announce that our project for a Grade II listed property in Shere has received 1st place in the Guildford Design Awards in the Private House Conservation Project Category.

Sited alongside the River Tillingbourne, the Georgian property, set within a Walled garden underwent a full refurbishment programme accompanied with a new single storey lightweight timber frame side extension, built over a historically significant and fragile Vault.

Using modern technologies alongside traditional craftmanship techniques the team sensitively restored this desirable and charming property back to health. We were pleased that the judges recognised its good quality design and how the team collectively addressed the various challenges presented by the project.
