1st Anniversary of Employee Owned Trust

This month marks this first year anniversary of our Employee Owned Trust status and we are delighted to be back in the office working collaboratively as a team.

Becoming an EOT has provided a framework to revitalise and refocus our commitment to designing the best possible buildings for our clients. We have introduced a ‘Design Track’ to support and challenge each other with a focus on key projects – which has encouraged debate in the office and a genuine cross fertilisation of ideas – and allowed some welcome opportunities to pause and reflect on the bigger architectural picture.

Director Sara Waterfield says:

“As we started our EOT in April 2021 we saw workloads take off. Becoming an Employee Owned Trust gave us the renewed vigour and momentum we needed not only to take on this workload but to challenge ourselves to become better, while reopening the office studios and reconnecting with what collaborative working is all about. The EOT structure also ensured our team were fully rewarded over the year for their brilliant work.”

We have some exciting projects in the pipeline for 2022 and are positive that our EOT ethos will harness the energy, skill and talent in the LAA team to make these a success.
