Lytle Associates Architects were appointed by Elivia to provide a design solution for a new residential development of 14 new dwellings in Walton-on-the-Hill consisting of 4 individually designed houses and a large apartment block.

The site lies within a Residential Area of Special Character (RASC) which required a sensitive, context-driven approach. A hierarchy was established with the Mansion Block sited centrally as the main focal point and the other dwellings positioned carefully within the spacious grounds to provide an appropriate character to the scheme and protect the mature trees on the site.

The buildings have been designed in an Arts and Crafts style, utilising features such as buttresses, porthole windows and catslide roofs ensuring they fit harmoniously within its wider context. Wonderful to see this scheme completed and to deliver such a unique, high-quality design solution for Elivia.
