Staff facilities, entrance, access, ancillary and car parks
At Lytle Associates we have extensive experience of school design across a range of school sectors from nurseries and first schools to sixth form colleges and universities, stretching back over 30 years.
Often the key to unlocking the potential of a school campus, improving circulation or enabling future building works, involves ancillary spaces such as staircases, corridors, plant rooms or service spaces.
As part of our original masterplan for Cranmore School we proposed a complete relocation of the main school entrance. This one simple change allowed us to rationalise and improve the layout of the whole school campus, delivering a high quality new reception and foyer space while freeing up the original entrance for a new nursery facility.
Completed projects include:
-Headmaster’s house, the Oratory Prep School
-Staff room attic conversion, Guildford County School
-Main entrance, Cranmore School
-Car park extension and new access, Cranmore School
-Car park and access, St Hilary’s School
