Lytle Associates Architects were appointed by Young Epilepsy to act as lead consultant to incorporate a new brain scanning system (MEG) into their existing facilities. The new specialist MEG equipment is the first of its kind in the world and has successfully transformed the diagnostic experience for the children since its opening in 2021.

As the MEG was actually a small cube shaped room, formed from 300mm thick steel plated walls, it was imperative that the installation was integrated into the building so it was a natural environment as possible for the children.
