Inspiring the next generation of apprentices

We are delighted to share that Mollie Lord, our Part 2 Architectural Assistant & Apprentice features in the new RIBA publication ‘Architecture Apprenticeship Handbook’ (available from 1 June).

In the publication, Mollie reflects on her Passivhaus journey so far.  Along with colleagues, she had an on-site introduction to Passivhaus when the office visited two Hampshire projects – the first, a state-of-the-art house in Emsworth built to Passivhaus standards and designed by the architect Ruth Butler; the second was a private Passivhaus dwelling under-construction in Ropley.

“Particularly beneficial to me was seeing the private residential project on-site, viewing the services installation, method of construction and discussing with the contractor and client about the use of the PHPP, knowledge I have applied back to my workplace learning, and have since undertaken the Passivhaus Designer course.”
