We have an excellent working knowledge of the current legislation, and understand the significant role that good accommodation can have in marketing a school to prospective parents.  A boarding house will be home to pupils for several months at a time.  It must have a human scale, a sense of personalisation and privacy, and a character that pupils can be proud of.  Good quality social spaces, integrated wifi and ensuite study bedrooms for older pupils are now standard, and an attractive ‘collegiate’ atmosphere can really enhance and sell the facilities.

We also understand the demands of bursars and maintenance managers, and our designs will always meet the highest standards of robustness, ease of maintenance and flexibility in order to meet demands such as flexi-boarding or external hire. We have designed student accommodation for The Oratory School,  The Reeds School and the University of Surrey.
