Completion of Grade II listed Gastropub in Egham
Lytle Associates Architects were delighted to provide architectural services to Grosvenor Pubs to transform this Grade 2 listed building in the heart of Egham in to another great British gastropub. Featuring a series of themed interior and exterior spaces that have all been sensitively refurbished to showcase the traditional features of this listed building. In addition to the ground floor pub and restaurant spaces the upper floors provide new boutique bedroom suites that have been elegantly incorporated into the building fabric, including exposing the existing roof timbers where possible. Externally a new glazed garden dining room has been created with retractable roof extending the useable floor space.
Working with other members of the design team Lytle Associates Architects paid careful attention to architectural detail to coordinate the design with the joint requirements to be sympathetic to the historic fabric, satisfy building control on the technical aspects of the project together with creating a superb commercial environment for this successful development.
